Uma curiosidade do Nothing Is Sound é que em Novembro de 2005 foi anunciado que a Sony vendeu cópia do disco com um sistema de “Proteção Contra Cópias”, que instalava um conjunto de aplicativos no Windows fazendo com que o CD não pudesse ser copiado. O que causou controvérsia, acusando a Sony de propagação de Software Invasivo.
